The Underground Nation and the People for Justice congratulate Ms. Kleist on her wise decision to drop out of the Cheshire Police Departments propaganda sessions operating under the guise of the Citizens Police Academy.

Several weeks ago, we contacted Ms. Kleist on UTH for Members Only and told her not to attend because all she would be hearing is the overstaffed and overequipped Cheshire Police Department cry poverty to members of their “choir” who would then go around and spread their manifesto like a virus.

Unfortunately, Ms. Kleist had to find out the hard way. She tries to be diplomatic, but now she understands who is doing most of the character bashing about her and her family around town.

Staying quiet and in your place is the motto of the Town of Cheshire and their tools of enforcement. When you dare try to expose the truth in a professional way as Ms. Kleist has done over the years, extraordinary things happen. Words get put in ones mouth that were never said, peoples characters get assasinated and so on. This is the tactic of the regime of the Cheshire Town Government. This is why no one dares step forward to speak out. One pays a high price as Ms. Kleist and her family has found out.

The Underground Nation and the People for Justice support Ms. Kleist and her decision to go for members only within a few weeks. Only members of UTH will be able to read the real truth about Cheshire and its regime. The letter sent by the Police Chief is on UTH for members only as is the letter with the name of the person who leaked the draft documents.

The regime newspaper the Cheshire Herald does an excellent job of promoting the town and police departments propaganda and character assasination.

The code to access UTH for Members only is being changed and will be sent out to all its members within a few days.

Hopefully Ms. Kleist learned her lesson and will put her trust in the people who support her.

I want to thank everyone who has contacted me on UTH for Members Only. I am feeling better after being ill for a few days. As any of you know, I have VERY strong feelings about my children and want them to succeed and be happy. When something is amiss with them, I go hysterical. My husband and I have worked hard to make them productive and happy. And if one of them is not, I blame myself and am very hard of myself for this. There is no other stronger love than that for my children. I will do anything and everything, bear the consequences to help them and to save them if they are in trouble. Blood is thicker than water believe me and a parents first instinct is to protect their children and do WHATVER is necessary to point them on the right path.

Back in the colonial days, parents of wayward children would literally give their adolescent teens over to the U.S. Navy where they would have to sail for months at a time and learn how to fire the cannons. One such example of this is the U.S. Constitution in Boston also known as “Old Ironsides.” Many children sailed that ship and died because the parents felt the child was out of control and needed discipline.

Today our choices are a lot more limited. In fact this week, I made two poor choices, one with a family member and another with my attending the Cheshire Police Department Ride Along and the Citizens Academy.

I have received a letter from the Police Chief questioning some of the statements I made regarding that ride along. The statement in question came from a motor vehicle stop and the issuance of a ticket for expired registration to the driver. There was an “insinuation”  made by the Chief of a “sample”that was mentioned in my post . I am sorry for the poor choice of words.

I know the various departments read my posts and speak among themselves. That is part of life. Unfortunately for myself, what started out as just another town to live in, ended up being more than that. I ended up being for lack of a better word, “dragged into the fray” by my husband who was already policitically active in Cheshire when I first moved here in the mid-80’s

Many feelings I have had towards our Police Department I felt in my heart were justified. But over the years, I have had to come to grips with the fact that many of the issues that brought about these bad feelings were brought on by both parties. I am not saying the other side was totally right, but in all honesty, I started some of the issues and then saw it just spiral out of control. I saw things from a different prospective when I first moved here. I came from a different culture so to speak and where I lived there were certain ways of speaking and driving and just living, that were acceptable where I was from were not tolerated here.

Make no doubt about it, my motives are always sincere, but have gotten misconstrued by some. When I have to read on other peoples blogs what are her real motives ( as if it is something sinister) it makes me sad because there aren’t any believe it or not.

Over the years I have put up a wall between my self and the Cheshire Police Department. A wall that may have been built too high and too strong. This wall can never come down as long as I live in this town.

You see, when I speak to a CPD officer or official I wonder what THEIR motives are. I have felt they have overreacted on some issues and that it was done on purpose.

So again, I apologize for any misunderstanding and I am deleting the Ride Along Post. But I am NOT attending any more Citizens Police Academy sessions. I always prided myself on being accurate. I still do.

But is it ok for some to trash me on other peoples blogs like the comment” I wonder what her motives are? I wonder where that comment now came from? Both sides are suspicious, both sides need to do some “deleting”

Better yet, stay out of my way and I will stay out of yours!!!

I tried to tune in to the Cheshire Town Council discussion of Charter Revision, but since it was one of the LAST items on the agenda (you know this was on purpose) and it was a weekday, I decided to find out how other towns in Connecticut handled or are handling charter revision issues.

Ok, I have three towns right now. All I can say is Stratford is an interesting case because they are one of the towns that actually DID go from Town Manager to Mayor.

The East Windsor report is very detailed and very interesting. I will post more towns the rest of the week. I will be reporting on the Citizens Police Academy on Wednesday from CPD Headquarters.

And, for all of those trash talkers on you know who’s blog, I have the IP addresses and the names that go with them. I will post them soon on Underground Town Hall.

Oh, now it is time for a quiz. I wonder what “Board” cannot run a tab at our local hardware store anymore? Can you guess?

On the last post, I told you that I had received a response from the Attorney General Richard Blumenthal regarding the incident with our local ambulance company that occured on Dec. 11th, 2007.

I don’t have a scanner. But guess what? I am GETTING ONE this weekend!! Hooray!!

So I am typing in Attorney General Blumenthal’s response:

Thank you very much for taking the time to contact me regarding the unfortunate incident with Ambulance Company. I hope that your son is doing better. The concern that you raised regarding the comment made by the ambulance attendant certainly warrants further investigation.

I have taken the liberty of forwarding your correspondence to Gary Wiemokly, M.P.H.,-P.R.N. at the Department of Public Health. Mr. Wiemokly is the Department’s Emergency Medical Services Section Chief and he can be reached at . For your convenience, I have provided his mailing address below. Mr. Wiemokly’s office investigates complaints against ambulance companies and individuals who hold emergency medical services licenses issued by the Department. The Department may contact you in order to obtain additional information regarding this incident, and I suggest that you contact Mr. Wiemokly if you have further information that would be helpful to the Department.

If the owner of the ambulance company had the decency to talk to me on the phone for a few minutes this issue would have been dropped. I tried many times to contact this person, but he did not have the decency to call me back.

I already told them, do not EVER EVER EVER come to my aid if I need it. I will DIE on the spot before I ever let any body from the C Ambulance Company touch me.

If a teacher told one of their students they could be tasered if they tried to get up and run, they would be FIRED in plain English and brought up on child abuse charges. Like my grandfather used to say, it is MD after their name not GOD!!
