I am not going to be posting for a while. I am really depressed over this license issue, I will be honest. This is my Achilles Heel-restricting my freedom of movement. I am a very mobile person and I need a lot of sensory stimulation. If this is taken away, I have a hard time dealing with it. I don’t like to be confined AT ALL.

I am still waiting to hear about this “Failure to Drive Right” ticket I received June 3. I did notice the court now says “To be Scheduled” so now I don’t know what to do or think. If the court does not nolle it, I am asking for a trial so I can present evidence because you can’t say anything to anyone in regular traffic court.

I  am at my breaking point. I can’t go anywhere without involving several people, I have to wait for rides. My work is suffering. This job is up in the air now.  People are sympathetic but they really don’t understand. In a way, this is what it feels like to be incarcerated or at least under house arrest. My movements are restricted, because let’s face it, you CAN’T WALK EVERYWHERE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE and mass transit TAKES UP TOO MUCH TIME. And I don’t care what some of you think, I did not abuse my driving privilege EVER!!!

IT SUCKS!! Don’t EVER take for granted your driving privilege because think about it-if you could not drive starting today, how would you feel and what would you do?? I know when I get the license back, I am driving to Kansas-non stop ALL THE WAY!! I will drive and drive and drive and drive until the damn tires fall off the car.

I knew a man that was sight impaired. I always marveled at his temperament. He was so upbeat. He was born sighted and an illness caused him to lose his sight. I always used to ask him how he did it. I told him, if I could not see I would probably jump off a cliff. This is what makes the story of Helen Keller so AMAZING!! No sight, no hearing, no speech and look at what she accomplished. I did notice though that many handicapped people are very sensitive about their disability and demand their rights. NOW I KNOW WHY.

I NEVER ABUSED my driving privilege NEVER. As I have said before, I have never harmed anyone in a motor vehicle, I have NEVER CAUSED AN ACCIDENT in 37 years of driving. MY RECORD IS CLEAN AND HAS BEEN FOR OVER 10 YEARS. I know it is over this time period because I was going to get a CDL and they go back 10 years!!! You saw my driving record on this blog–NO POINTS-IT IS CLEAN. I don’t drink or take drugs. I take driving seriously. A drunk driver has more rights than I do. UNREAL.

Just not knowing when everything will be resolved is really wearing me down. At least if I had my license suspended for DUI or not paying a fine or speeding, I would KNOW when I would be getting it back and would be able to get a work or school permit. I CAN’T GET ANYTHING AND I AM TOLD NOTHING.

Anyway, here is the information that Heather from Sprung Instant Structures emailed to me the other day. Apparently, the pool enclosure I ran a few weeks ago that showed the openings on the sides, is an extra cost. The cost to construct this is approximately $45 a square foot WITH INSULATION and approximately $42 a square foot WITHOUT INSULATION. Heather did say this structure could be attached to an existing building and would take approximately TWO WEEKS TO PUT UP. But the cost would be around $800,000 to $1 million. It is LESS than the Openaire, but I am sure the voters would NOT APPROVE THIS. It still is worth a look, even if a smaller pool is built at the high school, this structure may be able to be put over it. Worth looking into I think.
