Hi Cindy,

Just happened to come across your blog and wanted to say that it is GREAT to see there are people with opinions aon this and although there was a small group on both sides of the North end development who attended hearings (I am excluding the special interest groups), there is still many who should have been attending the meetings and writing letters regaarding the application. (Sorry for the run on sentence). Especially since it came to P & Z, instead of the Town Council putting it to referendum before the zone changes even went through, the more voices heard the better. Would it have mattered? Hard to answer although I made my vote to deny this based on a lot of reasons (not just traffic) and I was never happy about the "variables" that couldn't be answered. Anyway....thought you would like to have a copy of my opinion speech, but don't see how I cn attach it here. If you want it, email me at lesliem@snet.net.

Again, thank you for being involved....it's why I stay serving on a Commission as I have always honestly felt it is my civic duty and part of supporting what should be all that is good in living in a community such as Cheshire. It isn't always good.....but it's all we have!
