AN OMEN??

Well you all know the results-8-1 Republican majority on the Town Council.  I was afraid to get the other figures for Plan and Zoning and Bd of Ed.

Apparently the majority can only have seven seats  on the Town Council, so another Democrat will be put on the Council. It won’t matter. This is very strange-because all  I kept hearing from people is they were sick of partisanship-now what will happen?

It would not matter to me if it were the other way around-8-1 Dems. It still is disturbing. What is even stranger is that the Republican supporters kept talking about holding the line on spending, yet ALL of the referendum items passed!!

Go figure.

Bottom line-you can see how this town is made up-it is sort of like a peanut butter and fluff sandwich, you know, that white gooey stuff you put on top of the peanut butter in between two slices of bread? Yeah, that. The fluff, abandoned “their” candidates when they didn’t get what they wanted and must have gone out and just made sure the referendum high spending items passed. I know the Dems were happy about that because when it was announced that all the referendum items passed at Cheshire Dem Headquarters Tuesday night, there was a loud sigh of relief.

WEIRD.

I think the Republican party in whole has succeeded temporarly at “scaring” the American people, especially the elderly and the middle class whites who feel they are losing power-AND THEY ARE!!

It is just a matter of time before the tide turns permanently-whether you like it or not-I am not advocating anything-just stating the obvious in this country. The ethnic makeup is changing PERMANENTLY-that cannot and will not be stopped.

In the meantime, the OLD POWER GUARD will try anything to hold on. They will for a few years-but they will fall. Let them have their day in the sun-it is short lived I assure you.

The day will come when Socialism will rule. The people will have FREE healthcare-FREE education. We all deserve this.

And to the GOP, why do you care if Medicare will be bankrupted supposedly by Obama’s health care plan?

YOU THINK THIS IS SOCIALISM ANYWAY-ISN’T MEDICARE A SOCIALISM HANDOUT LIKE UNEMPLOYMENT-PENSIONS, SSI AND SOCIAL SECURITY THAT YOU WILL GLADLY ACCEPT AND PROBABLY ARE OR HAVE ACCEPTED?? WHAT DO  YOU CARE IF IT FAILS???

You see the split-the cities go Democrat, in fact Hamden just elected their first Black mayor,  and the suburbs go GOP. This will be the norm for several years, then the tide will TURN permanently.

PEOPLE WILL THEN LEARN THEY ARE BETTER OFF WITH SOCIALISM-THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HELP PEOPLE-THEY HELP EVERYONE ELSE IN EVERY OTHER COUNTRY!!

In the meantime, in Cheshire-Free speech-DEAD-Independent thinking-DEAD- Democracy-DEAD.

We are resigned to fear mongering and a police state.
