HIPAA: Guidelines for Law Enforcement
November 12th, 2009 by CindyThis law is SO convoluted. You wonder who stayed up nights thinking this up. Anyway this may help clear the air regarding whether or not a persons name can be broad casted over a police scanner when there is a medical emergency.

Also starting on Saturday, Nov. 14th, your fingers will really have to do the walking. You will have to dial all 10 numbers (which means area code included), regardless if you are dialing locally or long distance. This requirement also pertains to cell phones. It just seems we are going backward instead of forward these days.
