The document below is a follow-up to the Hipaa guidelines for law enforcement post.

I want you to read this document and then read pages 5 and 10 of the post “Hipaa Guide for Law Enforcement” and decide. I ran the original document (I scanned it into my blog) hopefully it will fit. I can’t zoom in on it so I hope you can read it, because when I contacted the Town Government about this potential FELONY violation, I got the feeling they didn’t believe me. But then again, anyone that tries to make a complaint or question the prima donnas get put off to the wayside.

Maybe that is the way  for the Town Government to get rid of this No Confidence vote with the CPD. JUST PRETEND IT IS A CITIZEN TRYING TO QUESTION SOMETHING OR MAKING A COMPLAINT AND IGNORE IT.

I redacted out the names of the person (with the  police scanner) to protect the persons identity. They were concerned enough to alert a family member whose name has also been redacted. The family member did not know about this (nor should they have had to find out about it in this way). The family member was so upset the person contacted my spouse who tried to diffuse the situation by denying it to the family member. That is why you see the response you see. This is ON FACEBOOK for God’s sake!!

I really do not think the person who contacted a member of my family would have done so just to say I was going to the hospital. I really believe there was more chatter and the person did not feel comfortable relaying this information. Read the dialogue a few times and you can get the feel that more than what this person let on was being said.

You know what, the police scanner is not a personal telephone with which to carry on personal bantering.

These stupid heartless bastards. My family member did not know what to think and was crying. If this isn’t HIPAA I don’t know WHAT IS!!! I mean, look they (the police) were standing right with me-my NAME SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SAID OVER THE POLICE SCANNER PERIOD!! IN ANY MEDICAL SITUATION!!

NICE ONE-ANOTHER SHOT IN THE FOOT!!

When does it end?? The Petit situation, the ticket situation I saw that night on the ride along, THIS situation. The entering of the home withOUT a WARRANT. The time discrepancies on the police report!! that Summary Call Log report I ran in June that had that potential derogatory statement about a person with mental illness. The Skate Park and Yellow House vandalism, the rock thrown through the Power Barn house upper window; the car stolen in broad daylight out of the Cheshire High School parking lot.

Where do these people get their training at  RENO 911???

This is what happens when no one in power questions these people-no one monitors-no one cares. “Oh they don’t need monitoring” THEY DON’T???

And no one in Town Government will QUESTION THIS EITHER!! NO ONE. They are afraid. They hammer the Board of Ed and the consultant for the pool, BUT THEY WILL THINK NOTHING OF SPENDING $50,000 for ABBOTT AND COSTELLO!! In a few weeks, Elim Park will put over $150,000 in these peoples pockets. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THIS MONEY GOES?? I am the only one who asked for a expenditure printout last year!! No one on the Town Council did or EVER WILL!!

A Town Council member did try to ask about the take home cars, but AGAIN, HE GOT IGNORED. JUST GO AWAY!!

WELL, THIS ISN’T GOING AWAY!!

Then this department gets Employee of the YEAR!!! OOH KAY!!

You know what? The Town of Cheshire would be better off adding an additional STEP to the Police Department salary schedule. Even if a STEP is $1,000 with 47 sworn officers, the town would spend $47,000 and the situation would probably end, because that is what they probably want-a salary increase!!

Stupid stupid town that finally stepped in it big time. This is their arrogance. They are running amok.

THIS ACTION  IS UNFORGIVABLE!!
