I'm OK

Some people were questioning over the past few days whether I had flipped out and lost it based on some of my videos on my site. I know some of you think I personally flipped out and lost it years ago, but that is your opinion.

No, I am fine. I have very strong feelings about certain issues –i.e. my family for one. I like to express my anger through art and I used certain artists this time on my site. I know these artists push the envelope but that is how it is and this is how I felt. But I always have a lighter side even when I feel angry. Now a few of you asked about the LL Cool J video. This is an old rap video. It basically or actually I should say, is about competition: “knocking out” the competition. It is NOT about physical violence. I am very competitive. I work hard at trying to make my site good and interesting to read. I do not have to do this. I’m not running for office and I never will. I do this as I have said before, as an alternative to what others are saying. I always was interested in government and the news and I always will be.

As far as the Marilyn Manson video: I do like some of his music–not all. I am not a calm person. I am very intense. He pushes the issues and so do I. The Beautiful People video is all about being phony. The “Beautiful People–the Beautiful People–it’s all relative to the size of your “steeple.” You can’t see the forest full of trees–you can’t smell your own sh-t on your knees.”!!!

Some of these people talk about too much government and things being political. That is why some of these people did not want the police commission. They said it was “too much government and too political.” Can you imagine? They kept saying they did not want another “layer” of government. So I guess when they appointed the Senior Tax Freeze Study Committee, that I supported, I guess that wasn’t another layer of government. These people said they were too busy to deal with that issue, that is why they appointed this committee. And I guess this latest flap with the Town Clerk’s office is not political–oh no–how could I even dare say such a thing?

Now in other news-I did get a response from Lt. Kerry Deegan of the Cheshire Police Department. I thank him for his answer.

I asked about the “Slowdown” days which will begin on Monday, June 18 and run all week and how many extra officers will be used for this program and what it will cost in overtime. This is Lt. Deegan’s response:

To answer your question(s);

We have assigned 4 police officers scheduled 7a-3p and 4 police officers scheduled 3p-11p. The vast majority of these police officers had their work schedule changed and overtime is at minimal. I cannot give you exact dollars of cost until after the project and I know which officers ended up working the detail. (The officer’s rate of pay varies by grade level.)
