It’s All Political

June 24th, 2007 by Cindy

Now many of you are asking if I would make a comment on the Town Clerk “issue.” I told you in an earlier post that I would not because where I came from this happened a lot, (like it or not). But I will put my two cents in for what it is worth. First of all, most of you know the Town Council will “investigate” how the term date of Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) chairman Tim Pelton, got changed, not once but apparently twice in the Town Clerk’s office over a 10 day period in February of this year.

Pelton, who is a Republican, resigned his chair on May 25, 2007. Pelton’s term was supposed to expire in January of this year, then on the town website, it showed that Pelton’s term expired in February 2007. Several days later the website showed Pelton’s term expired in 2008. I wonder if this is the same person that named my son Gordon “Babya” when I gave birth to him 21 years ago this past Saturday in an unnamed hospital.

I guess depending on whether you had a girl, the clerk would put down “Baby B” and if you had a boy, it was “Baby A.”

Well I don’t know what in God’s name happened, but when I got a copy of the birth certificate I was supposed to sign in the hospital before it became record, they had BABYA Kleist as my son’s name. I hate to tell you this, but some of the hospital staff was actually calling my son “BABYA.” “Oh, by the way, how is BABYA doing? “Do you want to feed BABYA now? I’m not kidding! I even got a card from this hospital addressed to the parents of BABYA Kleist!!

I finally straightened it out by registering my son with the Democratic party so he could be appointed to the Cheshire WPCA as a Democrat and be a cog in the wheel for approval of the proposed zone text change for the proposed lifestyle center and put a big feather in his cap. See what we did people!! See See!! We did it!! GET IT NOW PEOPLE!!! It is all political!!! I am going to give all of you a link to the Soviet News Agency Tass’s article on the issue. Oh God, I think I still must have a concussion!!! cheshireherald.com

OFFICER FILES INTENT TO SUE

I know people will want to hear what I have to say about this! I guess after reading this article in the local paper I should be filing an intent to sue my employer over the fence incident. I still have a beaner on my forehead. But I took it like a MAN!! and I am a woman.

Seriously, I really can’t get into the details, because I only know what I read from the local paper. cheshireherald.com

All I can say is the officer who has filed an “intent” to sue, Officer Wright is one of the most gorgeous men I have ever seen in my life on this earth. (And believe me I have seen a lot of men in my day, because I always worked in men occupations. I love men. To me this is what life is all about).

I met Officer Wright briefly several months ago, after I had called in what I thought was drug paraphanalia in a local supermarkets’ parking lot. When he stepped out of the car and I saw his eyes, I almost dropped dead!! The only other person I saw, (unfortunately not in person) that had that kind of effect on me was Elvis who believe it or not is related to Bill Clinton. (I can sort of see the resemblance).

But I can tell you many people in law enforcement and public safety feel that when they put the siren on its time to speed. I am not saying that is what happened here, apparently Officer Wright went to slow down to turn as he was responding to an accident call, he was allegedly struck from behind by a fellow officer. I’ll tell you thank God I wasn’t driving in the opposite direction and saw him, I know I would have crashed my car! Officer Wright was the same officer that pulled over a family member of mine several months ago regarding the “use” of high beams. Unfortunately, I was not in the car that night to see Officer Wright! But I did have a “discussion” with the CPD about the legal use of high beams in certain situations. You know they called backup when they found out my name was on the registration!

I used to drive an ambulance for a lower Valley town in the early 1980’s and believe me it is scary driving and trying to get to the medical emergency scene as fast as possible without getting into an accident. I was always told to drive cautiously. The lights and sirens are available on ambulances and Police vehicles, so people know you are coming and pull over so you can get through the traffic maze faster without having to speed.

Speaking of accidents, don’t get in one in New Hampshire. This is one of the few states that you still don’t have to carry auto insurance. You also don’t have to buckle up if you are over 18. There are signs up and down the highways in New Hampshire that state “Common Sense for All.” Whatever.

If you do get in an accident, you are supposed to fill out this accident form, get all the information from the parties involved in the accident yourself, if the accident damage is over $1,000. You are supposed to determine this yourself. I am linking you to the Gilford New Hampshire Police Department website: www.gilfordpd.org click on forms and then halfway down you can read about the accident form proceedure. If this wasn’t so serious, it actually would be funny, especially the part about if the person is dead or unconscious I guess you might have to call the police because you obviously can’t get the information out of them can you!! OH MY GOD!!! Can you imagine that here in our state?

You might also want to click on “officers” and see the nice photos. Some are really down to earth. But you can always spot the ones that I call “coppy.” The hat, the stance, etc. Oh well, that is life.

As you know, or maybe you don’t, I have been working with my son on an alternative “Lifestyle” center–on no not that! No–an alternative location to the proposed Lifestyle Center that W/S development wants to construct near the I-691 interchange.

I am really pushing for the development of the old Ball and Socket Factory. I don’t know how far this will get, but it is an idea. My idea of getting a concession stand at the pool finally will be realized. I will run my show from 2005 “Dangerous Intersections and the Pool.” where I speak about this idea with my husband. I originally aired the show on Cox Public Access Channel 15. I will download a few minutes of it within the next week.

Here is the proposed idea for the Ball and Socket Factory:
