Personality Traits

May 4th, 2010 by Cindy

I am going to put on these articles from WEB MD and WEB MD TV because so many of you that have contacted me privately and also the public safety people need to know the full story. Every person has a personality and has faults-YES EVEN YOU!!! To be able to identify them and seek help to improve ones life is the key.

Having intense emotions or Cyclothymia which is a MILD form of bi-polar usually affects people who are GIFTED OR ARTISTIC and are usually HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE. So now you know why YOU don’t fit into this category. You cannot be artistic or expressive and have the personality of an ice cube.

I know when I have to work creatively, I start feeling the adrenaline rush and then I get keyed up and nervous. But see, when I work like that I am very successful, because that energy is needed. It is like a car that won’t shut off after you turn the key into the off position. You needed that engine to get you where you wanted to go, but it just keeps on. Learning to know your triggers and control them with help is most important. The Web MD series is hosted by Jane Pauley, who is bi-polar AND VERY SUCCESSFUL AND ARTISTIC.

Cyclothymic Personality: People with cyclothymic personality alternate between high-spirited buoyancy and gloomy pessimism. Each mood lasts weeks or longer. Mood changes occur regularly and without any identifiable external cause. Many gifted and creative people have this personality type (see Mood Disorders: Cyclothymic Disorder).

Here is the famous Italian artist Caravaggio whom many people now feel was bipolar. But as someone in the article mentions: “a bipolar Italian, what else is new”

If you have not seen his work, what you have missed, especially his “David and Goliath” UNBELIEVABLE!!  Scroll down to the end of this article to see this particular painting. It says volumes about this man’s talent. In fact, Caravaggio had such an explosive temperament that while playing in a tennis match, the referee made a call he did not agree with, he killed him!!
