OK, here is the rest of the information on the proposed Fire Training Facility which would be constructed on State Property off of Jarvis Street near Peck Lane in Cheshire CT. I also did receive the Gift Account ledgers from the Town of Cheshire CT from June t0 December 2011. I will post this on Thursday.

I know some people in the area are concerned about possible smoke issues and aesthetic issues from this “tower” that will be used to simulate fires. I am certain the people involved will take the utmost care to ensure this facility causes the least amount of annoyance and inconvenience to the surrounding area.

Remember, the State can do what it wants on its property. They don’t need zoning permits. I want these people to be aware of their neighbors, but it could be worse. The State could decide to expand the correctional facility and house more inmates. If anything has to be put on this property, this is to me, the best bet. I would rather have this, than having to hear shooting range noises and even more noises from the inmates at night in the summer which is also a concern of residents in the area. Well, these facilities (jail) were here WAY BEFORE MANY OF YOU MOVED HERE. KEEP THIS IN MIND.
