School Salaries

The subject of teacher salaries is very popular this time of year, especially in Cheshire. Well, I found a few articles that are quite informative.

It is too bad the Town of Cheshire and one of their supporters can’t access this blog anymore (at least from work), but this is what happens when trash talking goes too far. I have had enough of it, I know where it is coming from, so I took this step which is PERMANENT.

Now, here is a good article on teacher salaries and benefits, aptly entitled: “One Yard Below: Teacher Salaries and Benefits.”

I suggest some of you thickheaded people out there READ THIS ARTICLE and stop with your pre-conceived notions.

The next article is even better. It deals with a recent ruling by the Connecticut State Supreme Court which ruled the Constitution guarantees college or job readiness.

And finally, “HEALTH CARE REFORM AND YOU: A NEW GUIDE.”

GET EDUCATED!!!

One yard below shows how numbers distort facts. it compares to teacher salaries to all others on average.
Included in the average are hourly wage earners at Mc donalds ect so teacherfs salaries look high.

Since all teachers must have a masters dergree within 5 years why not compare teachers to all those in the market place with master degrees. That comparison will show that teachers are grossly underpaid compared to others with similer education levels
