UPDATE: I never really look at the newspapers that much but I just happened to glance at the New Haven Register and they had an article on the Lt. Deegan suspension. Now most of us knew it was something about a “key” not being returned or whatever. The Register’s Luther Turmelle is reporting sources telling him the “key” was used to look into other officers lockers. Lt. Deegan is not accused of taking anything. Apparently, according to a commenter, this incident happened a year ago. DOES IT SOUND LIKE RETALIATION?? MAYBE!!

This is the last post ON THIS SUBJECT-but Undergroundtownhall HAS JUST OBTAINED A DUI STOP DASH CAM VIDEO FROM A FORMER MEMBER OF THE CHESHIRE POLICE DEPARTMENT. THIS DASH CAM VIDEO IS FROM 2009. I can’t believe it!! WHAT IS GOING ON AT THE CPD!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!

That Topix thread that I linked to in the last post is getting interesting as more people find out about it and comment. Good way to pick up what other people OUTSIDE OF CHESHIRE AND NOT ON THE CPD OR THE GOP think!!!
And as far as that ICMA report goes, well what does the Town expect??? Of course it is going to be bare bones. It is akin to a 900 line, you want MORE that three minutes YOU PAY!!
If any of these people that run this town had bothered to spend some time at the CPD they would have come to the same conclusion as this IMCA person and saved the town thousands of dollars. I did come across an article from Officer.com that is really good about the character of police officers (some of them) today.
